Hello there!

First of all, I want to wish you all a very Happy New Year on behalf of myself and the team here at SiteJacket. It’s safe to say that 2020 was a year full of challenges for us all, with COVID-19 changing the way we work, act and live. For most, it was a difficult time affecting us all in different ways but looking to the near future we can hope that with vaccines being rolled out that should see infection rates dropping across the globe and soon the world will be picking back up where it left off. There is a bright light at the end of this very long and very dark tunnel.

Anyways, on to happier things! Although things quietened down a bit for SiteJacket we still had a productive year and towards the end of 2020 we did some incredible work with some amazing clients. Firstly came Butler Hegarty Architects who were looking for a new website after the amazing Mingo Mingo Studio did a fantastic rebranding job for them. It was the first time we collaborated with another studio but it is my hope it won’t be the last as both Laura from Mingo Mingo and Claire from Butler Hegarty Architects were an absolute dream to work with. And now, freshly launched this past week, is a website we did for Ben over at BS Car Services. Ben had an old, compromised WordPress website that he wanted redesigned from the ground up, as his own mobile mechanic company was expanding, offering more services and bringing in new business. We had worked with Ben before so had no problem is quickly ascertaining his needs for the website and also offered an Search Engine Optimisation package, ensuring that his website will be highly-ranked on local Google searches. 2021 is hopefully going to be a huge year for us. With the COVID-19 pandemic hitting us, many people took the plunge and started their own small businesses in order to supplement their income. Other established businesses may have seen this period as a time to slow down but are now ready to bounce back and that could mean a fresh start. In any event, we here at SiteJacket are ready to help our prospective clients reach their goals head on in any way we can, be it a brand new website, or merely updating an existing one by tightening security or SEO advice.

Personally, I’m going to use 2021 to make sure that I’m updating things here on the SiteJacket website, namely the blog posts, a lot more regularly. I’ve got some exciting things lined up that I want to discuss with you all, from subjects ranging from why your business needs a website to the tools of the web design/development trade. So, once again, I’d like to wish you all a very Happy New Year. Lets make this one a grand adventure!
