Project Background
Gareth from G.Card Roofing contacted us at SiteJacket soon after setting up his business as he felt that it would be beneficial to have an online presence to showcase the quality of the work they do, along with a contact form so potential customers could easily get in touch for a quote.
During this initial phase, we determined that all G.Card Roofing would need is a single-page website which would incorporate his needs along with keeping the costs down to meet his marketing budget. This would be the perfect project for our Starter Website service.
The Challenge
G.Card Roofing needed a "digital business card" of sorts. One that they could include on relevant local business and tradespeople directories to drum up more trade from people who could see their reviews and work and make an informed decision about hiring them.
This project would require the following:
- A fast, responsive website that reflected the high-quality professionalism of G.Card Roofing
- A gallery of optimised images showcasing their work
- CTAs and contact options throughout, prompting visitors to get in touch with the company
The business already had a logo in place, so the website's font and colour scheme would match throughout, maintaining consistency with their social media profiles & company stationery.
What We Delivered
After ascertaining their needs for the website, we immediately set to work with the design and build. As this was a one-page website designed to showcase their work, it was a straightforward project from start to finish and took just a week to develop.
Built using WordPress, the website featured the following:
- An attractive, eye-catching header with CTAs
- Professional photographs of previous work carried out by G.Card Roofing
- A review/testimonial slider demonstrating the company's trustworthiness
- A bold contact section, featuring links to their social media pages, email address, phone number and even a contact form for specific enquiries
We even included setting up the business' Google Business Profile as this was something Gareth had previously overlooked. This is a crucial step in getting any local business online and visible by the public who may be searching for the exact service you're offering.
The Result
Upon launch, the impact on the business was tangible:
