Pretty Perfect by Sophie's is a luxury beauty salon straddling the border of Barnehurst and Bexleyheath, Kent.
Originally a beauty salon named "Fifibelle's", Pretty Perfect by Sophie's has grown tremendously under the stewardship of new manager Rachael Gallagher, who retained the original team of highly-skilled beauticians to carry the newly-founded business forward. Offering a large range of luxury beauty services, such as manicures, massage, body treatments and luxury facials, Pretty Perfect by Sophie's has become a jewel in Kent's high-end beauty spot crown.

Project Background
In August of 2024, manager Rachael took over the old beauty salon of Fifibelle's to create her vision of what was originally titled "Sophie's Beauty Lounge". She got in contact with SiteJacket to promote the new business and their services online by creating a website and then following that up with SEO to ensure a fast foothold in the local area for people looking for beauty services.
The initial project was to hit the ground running with a landing page upon the re-opening of the business where potential clients could see an overview of the services, contact the beauty salon or utilise their 3rd-party booking app to make an appointment.
Soon after, the business was rebranded as "Pretty Perfect by Sophie's" after Rachael reached out for collaboration with high-end beauty chain Pretty Perfect. This was to show clients that the business' focus was now more on luxury treatments with high standards for the ultimate "feel good" experience.
The Challenge
Pretty Perfect by Sophie's had a clear understanding of what they wanted to accomplish from the get-go to grow the new business from the remnant of the old one.
The project was to be laid out in three stages:
- Firstly, a landing page was to be created as soon as possible so the business could advertise the new website and attract customers right away with targeted social media efforts
- Secondly, as content became available (including a full layout of the services offered and high-quality images) a larger, multi-page website was to be delivered
- Lastly, to build brand awareness in the local area, a robust Local SEO campaign was to be implemented
Colour schemes and logos were already in place to help with the social media efforts, which were to be implemented on the websites and throughout the SEO campaign for brand consistency.
What We Delivered
We consulted with Rachael about the specific required outcome for the project and once we had narrowed the points down, we set to work immediately.
We used the WordPress CMS and BeTheme framework to construct both websites, namely for their ease of use, and user-friendliness for clients who want to be a bit more hands-on with their websites.
We built the first iteration of the website (the single-page version) in under a week, pulling resources from social media and specific requests for things like the logo, which we created a web-friendly colour/branding scheme for. As the page was launched, we immediately began our Local SEO efforts.
During the second stage was when the business changed its name from Sophie's Beauty Lounge to Pretty Perfect by Sophie's which led to a slightly longer build than usual, but we wanted to make sure that we built a website for the business that was representative of what they themselves were offering: a high-end, professional service.
Once this was complete, we re-worked our previous SEO efforts to focus solely on the new business and branding, and within 2 months Pretty Perfect by Sophie's was already ranking high for the targeted keywords in the local area.
The Result
Each of the website launches went incredibly well, with reports both from local customers and online analytics saying that it has been well received.
- High-quality backlinks increased to 124 in just four months
- Organic traffic increased to approximately 100 visits a day in August 2025
- Client retention improved, and new customers mentioned "finding us on Google" in their enquiries
Rachael and the team at Pretty Perfect by Sophie's were very happy with the websites, how they were designed and launched and how well the final website has performed.
The Local SEO paid off incredibly well for the business, especially for a launch and quick rebrand. Luckily, the existing SEO work for Sophie's Beauty Lounge was easily corrected for Pretty Perfect by Sophie's and we continued with our efforts and have been pleased to see them ranking in the Top 3 results on Google for a number of the keywords they wished to target; namely the high-quality beauty services they provide.

Reflecting on the Project
This was a large, multi-stage project for a business wishing to grow and with that in mind, it was a resounding success. By seeing the results using tools such as SEMrush and Google Analytics for the SEO, it's easy to measure just how well the website is performing online.
The owner/manager Rachael has continued doing a tremendous job promoting the business and website online with a strong social media presence. Along with her team, she has been able to elevate the beauty salon into a luxurious experience for whoever walks through their door.
